The Quality and Performance of an electric fuel pump is determined by the precision of which the components are engineered and fabricated. All PEFP pumps are engineered and manufactured for performance to meet or exceed factory O.E. pump flow and pressure specifications. Most of the PEFP pump models are designed using a proprietary balanced lightweight zytel nylon turbine design impeller and an encased precision balanced armature that significantly reduces the amount of movable parts to provide near silent operation, efficient pumping characteristics, and longer pump life. Turbine fuel pumps provide stable fuel flow, better performance under severe operating conditions, and operate at lower AMP ratings when compared to traditional rollervane or gerotor pumps.
All PERFORMANCE fuel pumps are engineered and designed with precision components. All components are manufactured under strict quality controlled standards and produced in high volume to keep costs low. Each set of components for a given pump structure is rigorously tested and calibrated for optimum performance. After assembly, each pump is tested for Operating LPH flow volume, AMP rating, noise dB, peak pressure rating, back-flow valve operation, pressure relief valve operation, and pressure load performance. Our turbine driven fuel pumps offer significant design and performance benefits when compared to the traditional gerotor or vane type pumps that are commonly produced by other manufacturers. As illustrated above, turbine pumps are constructed with fewer movable components, which allow for a lower operating AMP and quiet operation, than traditional gerotor designs.
